Damascus Road

‘Damascus Road’

A new light and sound installation by artist Mary Branson.

As part of the 2011 St Georges Arts artist residency, Mary explores the contemporary understanding of the term ‘Road to Damascus’ as a vivid point or event that provokes a sudden change in our lives.

Recording conversations with the public, she is to build an audio journey of fragmented personal stories to accompany a light piece that will transform this beautiful listed Tudor church into an intimate space of discovery.
