Full house for Sense and Sensibilities

We had a full house for our Valentine’s Tea-time Recital with Penelope Cave and Helena Brown. Penelope and Helena entertained an enthusiastic audience with duets of music found in Jane Austen’s collection at Chawton played on a Broadwood square piano of 1795. They talked about the stories behind the music and the connections with Jane Austen and her family. The recital was very well received as were the delicious tea and cakes.
