St George’s Arts is based at St George’s Church in Esher, Surrey which is a historically important, grade 1 listed building providing an inspiring and unique setting. It has hosted an annual Artist / Maker residency and is developing a programme of shorter residencies, exhibitions and visual arts events to complement its existing music programme. St George’s Church is in the care of The Churches Conservation Trust; who work with communities to find sustainable uses for their historic buildings, and The Friends of St George’s Church.
Rebecca Price, who was artist in residence at St George’s in 2011, is the exhibitions organiser and curator for 2012, overseeing the Artist Residencies and developing a visual arts programme and the St George’s Arts education and outreach events.

St George’s Arts, Esher Park Avenue, Esher, Surrey KT10 9RQ
St George’s Church is near the junction of Claremont Lane (the A244) and Esher Park Avenue behind the Bear Public House. The closest Bus stop is on Esher High Street (2 mins) and it is near both Esher Station and Claygate Station for trains to London and the south coast. There is parking directly outside (including disabled parking) or a pay car park at the Civic Centre (5 mins). Walk to St George’s from the car park via a path next to the Library.
